You are bidding on a used 2004 LS1 engine assembly with 138,931 miles. This is a 5.7 liter (346 cubic inch) aluminum block engine. GM rated this engine at 350 horsepower at 5600 RPM, and 360 lb ft of torque at 4000 RPM. Engine assembly has been tested and carefully inspected prior to being listed for sale. It has been run through several heat cycles, and had good oil pressure. It does not knock or smoke. Engine ran smooth, and made good power. It is in excellent operating condition.
The video below shows the engine running with a noisy A/C idler pulley. A new idler was installed on the engine upon removal from the vehicle. Assembly was removed from a well kept 2004 Chevrolet Corvette, VIN # 1G1YY22G845104058.

The LS1 engine is an excellent choice for transplants into older vehicles due to its excellent power, driveability, reliability, and fuel economy. The low profile intake manifold, and the front accessory layout on this engine make this drivetrain better suited for transplants than LS engines out of trucks and SUVs. It is the buyer's responsibility to research compatibility before purchasing.
This item ships via truck freight to the lower 48 states. Before purchasing, please email with your full addres so we can provide you with a shipping quote. We will need to know if you have a forklift or loading dock on site. If you do not, you will need liftgate service. Item can also be picked up in Clanton, AL.
This engine comes with a 90 day parts warranty. This warranty covers any parts that fail during 90 days starting with the date you receive your order. Labor, lost time, and other related costs are not covered. Warranty is void if the engine is disassembled, modified or altered.
Note: All fluids will be drained from the engine for shipping purposes. Fluids must be added and checked prior to starting the engine.
